About

I'm a NOC Engineer II based in New York and working remote, with over 5 years across network infrastructure, security, and automation. I'm one of the primary escalation points for advanced routing, firewall and captive portal issues, and I build the internal tooling that takes repetitive work out of network operations.

Before the NOC I spent years in the field, deploying Cisco Meraki and Ruckus networks for hotels and public venues across the U.S. That experience is why I can follow a problem the whole way down, from a bad patch cable to an API response.

My background covers core routing and switching, network segmentation, and firewall migrations with Fortinet and OPNsense. Most of what I build now sits in network automation, Ansible provisioning, and Docker service stacks, tested against a homelab I run as a real environment rather than a demo.

Currently studying toward CWNA, which builds on the wireless and hospitality gateway work I do day to day.

What I'm Focused On

Escalation engineering, and the automation that surrounds it. I write Python and Ansible to remove manual steps from the day job, and I keep a homelab that mirrors real practice: OPNsense firewalling, Proxmox virtualisation, Docker service stacks, and a Prometheus, Grafana and Loki pipeline for metrics and logs.

Two things I have made public. Homelab IaC is the infrastructure as code for that lab, Ansible playbooks plus Compose stacks. Homelab MCP Server is a read-only-first reference server for infrastructure discovery, documentation and audit workflows.

What I care about is the boring version of reliability: knowing what is actually running, being able to rebuild it, and being able to prove what changed.
